Project B10:
Excitonic energy transport in Rydberg gases (2013-2017)
Summary
In this project we will realize a novel experimental approach for studying coherent energy transport in custom
tailored quantum systems. The implementation relies on a fast energy transfer in a network of well localized Rydberg atoms, immersed in a bulk background. By adding noise and on site level shifts, we can tailor the time evolution of these networks in controlled manner.
